Pull Up a Chair (or a Patch of Grass): Welcome to 'I'm Out Here'

Hey everyone, Jeremy here.

Wow. It feels a little wild to be writing this, to be honest. This is the first official blog post for "I'm Out Here," and it’s something that’s been on my heart and mind for a long, long time. If you're reading this, whether you just stumbled by or you've been following along with some of the early videos and bits I’ve shared, thank you. Seriously. It means the world.

So, "I'm Out Here." What’s it all about?

Well, at its core, it’s born from my own journey. A journey that, not too long ago, looked a whole lot different. There's a bigger story to how I got here – a story that involves some pretty tough times, a health diagnosis that hit me hard, and a real, honest, sometimes messy look at my relationship with alcohol. I’ll be sharing more of that, the real nuts and bolts of it all, in good time. That "Big Cut" you might have seen on the site? Yeah, that’s part of it.

But what I want to focus on, what "I'm Out Here" truly stands for, is the other side of that story. It’s about the incredible freedom, the unexpected joy, and the genuine connection I’ve found living an alcohol-free life. It’s about showing anyone and everyone that a full, vibrant, exciting life doesn’t just exist without alcohol – it can absolutely thrive. And the best part? We don't have to preach or judge to share that.

This space, this whole idea, is for anyone who’s curious about that. Maybe you're deep in your own recovery, and you get it. Maybe you’re just starting to question your own relationship with booze, part of what some folks call the "sober curious" movement. Maybe you’re supporting someone you love, or you're dealing with health stuff, like liver disease, where alcohol just can't be part of the picture. Or maybe, you just love the idea of being more present, more connected, and finding new ways to experience the world with a clear head and an open heart.

Whatever your path, you’re welcome here.

For me, a massive part of this new chapter has been reconnecting with the outdoors. Getting "out here" – whether it’s on a camping trip with my boys, a quiet hike, or just feeling the sun on my face – has been a game-changer. There’s a clarity, a peace, and an adventure in nature that an alcohol-free life has opened up for me in ways I couldn't have imagined before. Along with being on stage, it’s where I feel most alive, most myself. And I believe that connection to the outdoors can be a powerful, healing part of this journey for so many of us.

From the very start of dreaming up "I'm Out Here," I knew it couldn't just be my story. It has to be about our stories. I’ve already seen and heard from some of you, and the desire for connection, for a place to share and find support, is so clear. That’s why building a real, interactive community right here on the site is something I’m truly committed to.

I’m envisioning a space where you can share your own "Out Here" moments, ask those tough questions without fear, find someone who just gets it, and cheer each other on. We’re taking the first steps on that path now, and honestly, your voice, your experiences, will be a huge part of shaping what that looks and feels like. This isn't just my platform; it's a community we're going to build together.

So, what can you expect from this blog, and from "I'm Out Here" in general? More of my story, for sure. More vlogs from our adventures. Thoughts and reflections on this alcohol-free path. And importantly, updates as we roll out more ways for us to connect as a community. We’ve got plans for retreats in the future (looking at 2026!), ways to share your experiences, and more.

This is just the beginning. The very first step onto a new trail.

I’d love to hear from you in the comments below – what does "I'm Out Here" mean to you? What are you hoping to find or share in this kind of community?

Feel free to look around the site, check out the videos, and if you feel called to it, grab some merch to show you're part of this growing family. More than anything, just stick around.

Let’s see where this path takes us. Let’s build this thing together.

It’s good to be out here with you.

Peace,

Jeremy
